We offer laughing gas to help you relax

We understand that not everyone enjoys dental visits, and some people may have an outright fear of coming to the dental office. At Epic Dental Care we are well accustomed to treating patients with high dental anxiety. We offer various relaxation techniques, which range from something as simple as creating a comfortable and soothing environment, to nitrous oxide administration.

Nitrous oxide is also known as laughing gas, it has a sweet scent and is commonly used for minimal sedation to help relieve fear and dental anxiety. This gas is inhaled through a mask, it is fast acting and its effects dissipate immediately following removal of the nasal hood. Nitrous oxide can be used on its own or in addition to oral sedation.
